Compass Sea School Ltd, located at Portishead Marina on the Bristol Channel, offers first class professional tuition in all aspects of water and shorebased RYA Powerboat courses from Level 1 through to Advanced Instructor training.

Compass Sea School brings together a professional team of instructors, examiners and trainers, who all have a significant background in watersports tuition in many disciplines. Additionally all our instructors have operational experience in search and rescue with both the RNLI and SARA.

The combined experience of our instructional team equates to over 80 years making the school one of the most experienced training centres in the country. We are the chosen training provider for the Avon and Somerset Police.
