Admiralty Leisure launch new chart folio for the Bristol Channel

At the end of June an exciting new folio covering the Bristol Channel will be launched by Admiralty Leisure.  This is the first time that this area has been charted for the leisure mariner by Admiralty Leisure and will allow yachtsmen to plan their voyages safely, as well as navigate along this vast stretch of water.

The folio starts at Sharpness Dock and goes down as far as Lundy Island, but also included is a useful planning chart to Padstow, which is predominantly the first port of call for those sailing out of the Channel and heading South West.

Admiralty Leisure’s attention to detail is reinforced with the inclusion of many small harbours and ports with large scale detail allowing yachtsmen to plan their voyages.  Included in the folio, for example is Ilfracombe on the North Devon coast, a perfect stop before reaching Lundy Island, as well as Swansea Bay, which is fast becoming a popular place to moor, Cardiff and Portishead.

The folio contains 21 A2 size charts ensuring they fit perfectly on the chart table.  The product represents excellent value for money covering over 800NM² of cruising ground and retails at just £37.50.
